MCCC, MCMHA PARTNER TO PROVIDE MENTAL HEALTH SCREENINGS, REFERRALS TO STUDENTS
MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College and Monroe Community Mental Health Authority officials cut a ceremonial ribbon today to announce a partnership between the two organizations to provide mental health screenings and referrals to students on MCCC’s Main Campus four days per week.
The ceremony took place in MCCC’s Student Success Center in Founder’s Hall, which is where students can access the services.

Math Boot Camp Prep Class starts Nov. 7
Monroe County Community College is offering two free, non-credit Math Boot Camp sessions (midday and evening), November 7 - December 7, 2022, to lessen anxiety about math before the kickoff of the Winter 2023 semester that begins January 6. Monroe County Community College signed the Detroit Regional Talent Compact, an equity-driven initiative led by the Detroit Regional Chamber’s Detroit Drives Degrees program. The Compact brings together stakeholders from business, philanthropy, government, K-12, and higher education to accomplish two goals: increase the region’s postsecondary attainment rate to 60% and reduce the racial equity gap by half by 2030.
