Faculty and Staff

The faculty and staff at Monroe County Community College are dedicated to student success.  In recent surveys of students, “supportive, helpful, friendly and caring” were all terms repeatedly linked with the employees of MCCC.  One-on-one personal attention with faculty who provide hands-on teaching and individual student mentorship, combined with staff members who take personal ownership in helping students succeed, sets MCCC apart from other higher education institutions.

There are 178 full-time employees at the MCCC.  This includes 67 faculty members, 61 support staff employees, four professional staff members, 26 administrators and 20 members of the maintenance staff.  About 75 percent of the full-time teaching and counseling faculty have earned graduate degrees, and more than 20 percent have earned post-graduate degrees.

The college also employs 196 adjunct faculty members and 38 part-time support staff members.
