MCCC Hosts ‘Celebrate Diversity Month’ Presentations

MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College is hosting two presentations in April in honor of “Celebrate Diversity Month”: Below is the schedule. Both are free and open to the public. 

  • Monday, April 15: “Man-made and Mother Earth: Why Distinctions in Gender Matter,” a presentation by Dr. Carrie Nartker, professor of English; 12:30-1:30 p.m.; Audrey M. Warrick Student Services/Administration Building, Room 173b.
  • Tuesday, April 23: “What Did You Call Me?: Gender Inclusive Pronouns,” a presentation by the Gender & Sexuality Alliance; 12:30-1:30 p.m.; Life Science Building, Room 201.

In addition to the events listed above, MCCC is hosting two “Celebrating Diversity” displays in the Audrey M. Warrick Student Services/Administration Building.

Monroe County Community College is located at 1555 S. Raisinville Rd. in Monroe.
