MCCC’s Inside Out Dance Ensemble To Present ‘Occupied By Dreams’

MONROE, Mich. – The Monroe County Community College Inside Out Dance Ensemble will present “Occupied by Dreams” on Saturday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 14 at 3 p.m. in the La-Z-Boy Center, Meyer Theater.

According to Inside Out director Kellie Lajiness, the performance “will unlock the chambered dreams that occupy our minds,” and “reams of streaming images will be recounted and delivered in real time and space.”

Tickets are $12. They can be purchased online or via phone by calling (734) 384-4272. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the MCCC Cashier’s Office in the Warrick Student Services/Administration Building or at the door before the show.

The La-Z-Boy Center is located on MCCC’s Main Campus at 1555 S. Raisinville Rd. in Monroe.

The 2018-19 MCCC Season of Events sponsors are the DTE Energy Foundation, Monroe Bank & Trust, La-Z-Boy Incorporated, and The Foundation at MCCC.

The Inside Out Dance Ensemble is part of the Destination Dance School at MCCC, which is offered through the Office of Lifelong Learning and provides instruction in tap, jazz, ballet, modern, theater and ballroom dance for ages 4 through adult. In addition to the Inside Out Dance Ensemble, the Destination Dance School also houses the Inside Out Dance Ensemble Junior Company and the Destination Tap Collective.
