MONROE, Mich. – Drew Hastings – a 20-year standup comedy veteran with “Tonight Show” appearances and regular guest segments on the national “Bob & Tom Show” to his credit – will perform at Monroe County Community College’s La-Z-Boy Center on Saturday, Feb. 2.
Once a loft-living city dweller, Hastings left Los Angeles at age 50 to take up farming in rural Ohio where he has a cow/calf operation. He now shares the very funny tales to go with it. In addition, he was re-elected to his second term as mayor in the rural city of Hillsboro, Ohio, where his politically incorrect candor is often controversial but usually well received.
The show begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $17 for reserved seating and can be purchased on the Web at www.monroeccc.edu/theater or via phone by calling (734) 384-4272. VIP/balcony seating is sold out. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the MCCC Cashier’s Office in the Warrick Student Services/Administration Building.
The La-Z-Boy Center is located on MCCC’s Main Campus at 1555 S. Raisinville Rd. in Monroe.
The 2018-19 MCCC Season of Events sponsors are the DTE Energy Foundation, Monroe Bank & Trust, La-Z-Boy Incorporated, and The Foundation at MCCC.
