MCCC to Host Business and Industry Safety Expo and Miosha Update

MONROE, Mich. – Monroe County Community College will host a  Business and Industry Safety Expo and Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration Update on March 16 from 8:30 a.m.-noon in the La-Z-Boy Center.

The La-Z-Boy Center is located on MCCC’s Main Campus at 1555 S. Raisinville Rd. in Monroe.

The cost is $5 per person.  Registration is required.

he event will include vendor booths showcasing the latest in industrial safety equipment and services.

t will begin with a continental breakfast at 8:30 a.m.  At 9 a.m., keynote speaker Nella Davis-Ray, program director for MIOSHA's Consultation Education and Training Division, will provide an update on MIOSHA.  Immediately following Ray’s presentation, guests will be invited to attend the Safety Expo.

The cost for a vendor booth is $35 and includes continental breakfast for representatives.  Two 5-foot-by-2-foot tables will be included with each registration.
