MONROE, Mich. – The Monroe County Community College Alumni Association Board of Directors is accepting applications to fill five seats that will become vacant in January 2016.

The purpose of the Alumni Association is to work collaboratively with the Board of Trustees, The Foundation at Monroe County Community College, staff, students and the community in providing support to the mission and educational objectives of MCCC.  Meetings are held on the third Monday of the months of January, March, May, July, September and November at 5:30 p.m.

All current, annual and/or lifetime members of the Alumni Association are eligible for appointment to the MCCC Alumni Association Board of Directors. Lifetime friend members are not eligible.

Persons interested in serving on the Board of Directors should submit a brief letter of interest to Kari Jenkins, The Foundation and Communications Coordinator, at or the MCCC Alumni Office, 1555 S. Raisinville Rd., Monroe, MI 48161, stating:
