POPSS Qualifications:

To qualify students must be enrolled or intending to enroll in one of the state-approved occupational programs and meet one of the POPSS Qualifications.

Are you?
Qualifications:

a nontraditional student?

  • Enrolled in a program in which 25% or less of a gender is represented.

a single parent?

  • Unmarried with minor child(ren)

  • Separated with minor child(ren)

  • Single and pregnant

an economically disadvantaged student?

  • Receiving a Pell grant

a displaced homemaker?

  • Worked primarily in home and dependent on income of another family member

a student with limited English proficiency or ESL?

  • Native language not English or

  • Reside in a home where another language is spoken 60% of the time
