CRIMINAL JUSTICE INSTRUCTOR

Provide classroom instruction in various Criminal Justice courses, including law enforcement, corrections, juvenile delinquency, and criminal law beginning Winter semester 2019. Required qualifications:  Master’s Degree in criminology or criminal justice OR Master’s degree in sociology with 12 graduate credit hours in criminology or criminal justice OR Master’s degree with 18 graduate credit hours in criminology or criminal justice. Preferred qualifications:  police academy credential, 2 years criminology/criminal justice related work experience; college-level teaching; or Ph.D. in criminology/criminal justice. AUTO ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTOR

Full-time Instructor primarily responsible for teaching courses in the Auto Engineering Technology program. Additional duties include promoting, directing, developing, and implementing daily operation of Auto Engineering program including development of new curriculum, assisting in selection of appropriate adjunct (part-time) faculty for the program, and equipment planning and procurement for program area in the lab. Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering Technology or in the Engineering field or Associate’s degree in Automotive Engineering Technology or Automotive Service Technology OR Engineering Technology and 4,000 hours of hands-on automotive work-related experience. Exception to the above may be considered with appropriate qualifications and work experience in the profession.  Teaching experience preferred. ECONOMICS INSTRUCTOR (PT)
  
Part-time adjunct faculty opportunities exist in the area of ECONOMICS to instruct  PRINCIPLES OF MICROECONOMICS and PRINCIPLES OF MACROECONOMICS, (specific course information may be viewed at www.monroeccc.edu/outlines/index.htm)  Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or Business Discipline with 2 years of Appropriate Related Equivalent Experience.  Preferred qualifications:  Master’s Degree in Economics or Master’s degree and 18 graduate credits in Economics; teaching experience, preferably in a collegiate setting.

APPLIED SCIENCES & ENGINEERING TECH
INSTRUCTORS (PT)

Part-time adjunct Instructors needed in the following areas:

  1. Automotive – with relevant NATEF/ASE certifications.
  2. CNC Machining – conversant with use of CAM software.
  3. Construction Management – background in LEED, Construction Safety, Renewable solar and wind, Scheduling, estimating. Knowledge of BIM software, AutoCAD, scheduling software such as Primavera, MS Project useful.
  4. Welding – proficient in all welding process and NDT inspection techniques.

Qualifications include Associate of Science degree and/or Journey person card; Bachelors of Science degree preferred. Work experience in the respective area required. TECHNICAL SUPPORT ASSISTANT (PT)

Within the Office of Information Systems, provides assistance to informational technology and audiovisual users seeking technical support.  Maintains, installs, and repairs computer and audiovisual equipment.  Qualifications include Associate’s Degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and certification; at least one year of related experience; working knowledge of various audiovisual equipment including set-up and operation; and ability to critically assess situations and troubleshoot.  Approx. 28 hours per week, Mon-Thurs 3-9pm, Sat 8am-12pm, occasional additional coverage needed.  Wage $14.72 per hour.  If interested, please send cover letter, resume, and MCCC Support Staff employment application by August 27, 2018 to:
