CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT INSTRUCTOR

Full-time position Instructor responsible for the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Construction Management program in Division. Duties include teaching and advising AAS degree and certificate students in Construction Management. Bachelor’s degree required in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or appropriate related technical field.  Bachelor’s degree holders:  Minimum of 5 years full-time US commercial or industrial and/or residential construction industry experience with increasing levels of responsibility, culminating in a project management position. Bachelor’s degree with PE and Architect Registration highly desirable. Master’s degree holders:  Minimum of 3 years full-time US commercial or industrial and/or residential construction industry experience with increasing levels of responsibility. Previous teaching experience preferred.  Base salary $50,571-$62,125, negotiable based on education and experience; complete benefit package. Full-time position providing instruction in early childhood education courses and coordinate and supervise field experiences related to the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of young children. INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTER INFORMATION SYSTEMS, MS-OFFICE INSTRUCTORS (PT)
  
Part-time adjunct faculty opportunities exist in the area of Computer Information Systems to instruct  INTRODUCTION TO CIS (CIS 130) – Using Win10 and Office 2016, (specific course information may be viewed at www.monroeccc.edu/outlines/index.htm)  Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor’s Degree in CIS Discipline with 18 Graduate hours in related CIS field or discipline specific certifications such as MOS certifications. Two years directly related professional experience is required.  Bachelor’s degree in CIS with significant professional experience may be considered.

SPECIAL POPULATIONS
COUNSELOR (PT)

Part-time faculty position, assists the Coordinator with overseeing the operation of the Special Populations’ program as defined by the current Carl F. Perkins legislation and guidelines.  Facilitates projects/activities, focusing on the needs of the students. Qualifications include MA in counseling from an accredited institution; Michigan LPC licensure; strong writing, communication, and organizational skills specifically related to designing programs for students; practical working knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act with Amendments; and knowledge of the intent of the Carl F. Perkins desirable. Salary $21.71 per hour; 16-20 hours/week.

APPLIED SCIENCES & ENGINEERING TECH
INSTRUCTORS (PT)

Part-time adjunct Instructors needed in the following areas:

  1. Automotive – Auto Service program with NATEF certification G1 and/or any one or more for A1 through A8 areas as defined by ASE/NATEF standards. Additionally looking for instructors in our Auto Engineering program with qualifications in engine testing and performance, emissions, noise/vibration and experience in automotive testing and R&D.
  2. CNC Machining – proficient in CNC machining, both Horizontal and Vertical machining centers (HASS and Fanuc Controls), conventional manual lathe, mill, drill, grinding. Knowledge of MASTERCAM or similar software useful.
  3. Construction Management – background in LEED, Construction Safety, Renewable solar and wind, Scheduling, estimating. Knowledge of BIM software, AutoCAD, scheduling software such as Primavera, MS Project useful.
  4. Welding – proficient with TIG, MIG, Stick, flux core welding techniques, print reading, metallurgy, non-destructive testing methods, UT, MT level 3 certification.

Qualifications include Associate of Science degree and/or Journey person card; Bachelors of Science degree preferred. Work experience in the respective area required. Director responsible to plan, organize, direct, and manage the daily activities and operations of District-wide procurement of goods and services. Manages the college bookstore and auxiliary services. Supervises 7-11 full and part time employees. Oversees food service/vending service contracts and the college’s telecommunications administration. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business management, business administration, retail management or related field; three-five years of experience in purchasing, retail management or related field; administrative experience preferred. Salary $64,765- $71,472; competitive benefit package.

COMPUTER SYSTEMS ANALYST

Full time position at Monroe County Community College responsible for the efficient and accurate operations of the College’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.  Responsibilities include analyzing data processing issues to improve computer systems, research and evaluate emerging technologies and recommend new solutions, serving as a subject-matter expert, troubleshooting/resolving coding issues, design new applications and workflow changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness, proactively monitors systems to ensure optimal/accurate operations, write instruction manuals and develop testing procedures.  Qualifications include Associates degree in computer information systems with seven or more years’ experience or Bachelor’s degree (preferred) with two or more years’ experience in computer programming/systems analysis; extensive knowledge of data processing, hardware platforms, and enterprise software applications; customer service; knowledge of database management tools and design experience; experience in use of software development tools to code and debug application software.  Pay range is $22.30 - $24.80 per hour and posting is open until position is filled.  Interested individuals should send a letter of interest, resume, and MCCC Support Staff employment application to:
