CRIMINAL JUSTICE INSTRUCTOR

Provide full-time classroom instruction in various Criminal Justice courses, including law enforcement, corrections, juvenile delinquency, and criminal law beginning Fall 2014 semester. Qualifications include Master’s Degree earned in criminal justice, related discipline, or field of study required. Significant graduate level course work in a second area of study, college-level teaching experience, and professional experience in the area of criminal justice or related field preferred. Base salary $48,841, may be negotiable. PT MATHEMATICS TUTOR  

Monroe County Community College’s Upward Bound Program has PT Tutor positions available. Responsibilities involve providing academic assistance in Mathematics area for 1-3 days per week. Provides supplemental instruction including proper study skills to students in individual and group settings. Qualifications include Bachelor’s Degree and valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with proper endorsement. Located at Airport High School; Monday-Wednesday from 2:30-4:30pm; $25.00 per hour. MAJOR GIFTS

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Grants Office, including preparing and submitting all proposals and grant applications in support of Monroe County Community College’s ongoing needs and priorities. Also, will develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive major gifts program. Qualifications include Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, business administration, or related field; two or more years experience working in a comprehensive development office; knowledge of regulations of fundraising and grant writing and seeking; excellent written and oral skills; and ability to work with diverse groups of people. Wage $18.19-$19.52 per hour; competitive benefit package.
