INSTRUCTOR, CIS PROGRAMMING/MICROSOFT APPLICATIONS

Under the direction of the Dean of the Business Division, full-time position, instructing courses in computer programming and serving as the lead instructor for courses teaching the MS-Office applications of Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint. Qualifications include Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 20 Graduate level hours from a regionally accredited university/college in a field or discipline directly related to the topics to be instructed. In lieu of graduate coursework, Tested Experience in the form of 2 or more years of directly related employment/practical experience and/or Professional Certifications may be accepted. Master’s degree or Higher in an appropriate related discipline desired. Possess excellent classroom delivery skills, including the utilization of classroom technology. ART INSTRUCTOR

Teaching of a variety of Art courses including ceramics studio courses, art history, art appreciation, and drawing. Other responsibilities and duties will include the operation and supervision of a ceramics studio, oversight of the college art collection, and participation in Division-wide program and curriculum planning and assessment of student learning outcomes.
Minimum of a Master of Fine Arts degree, Ph.D. preferred, combined with evidence of at least 20 semester credit hours of graduate level art and studio art courses. AUTO ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTOR

Full-time position in the Applied Sciences and Engineering Technology (ASET) Division. Instructor primarily responsible for teaching courses in the Auto Engineering Technology program. Additional duties include promoting, directing, developing, and implementing daily operation of Auto Engineering program including development of new curriculum, assisting in selection of appropriate adjunct (part-time) faculty for the program, and equipment planning and procurement for program area in the lab. Bachelor of Science degree in Auto Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related Engineering field. Master’s degree or higher in Engineering or Engineering field preferred. Five plus years of experience in automotive industry in one or more areas to include engine testing and performance, with emphasis on dynamometer testing (both chassis and engine), knowledge of emissions testing and vibration analysis highly desirable. Evidenced teaching skill and ability to identify and implement assessment of student learning strategies and practices. Teaching experience preferred. COMPUTER INFORMATION SYSTEMS INSTRUCTORS (PT)
  
Part-time adjunct faculty opportunities exist in the area of Computer Information Systems.  Courses to be instructed may include:  INTRODUCTION TO CIS (CIS 130) – Using Win10 and Office 2016, COMPUTER PROGRAMMING CONCEPTS – C++ (CIS 132), and other possible opportunities. The Dean plans, budgets, organizes, and administers the programs, transfer pathways, and operation of the area. The Dean recruits, recommends, supervises, and evaluates faculty and staff; provides leadership for assessment of student learning and program review and evaluation; and maintains relations with area high schools and colleges to develop and deliver needed educational services. Ph.D. preferred (Master’s degree required) in one of the fields of the Science/Mathematics Division; highly qualified applicants with a Master’s degree will be considered. Evidenced teaching skill in higher education; and ability to work in conjunction with faculty to develop and implement curriculum and market programs. Annual salary $85,211 - negotiable depending on preparation and/or experience. Full-time position, responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance and support of server based applications, network operating systems and integrated software. Qualifications include Associate’s degree in computer science, computer information systems or related field required, Bachelor’s degree preferred; five or more years of experience in computer information systems; knowledge and experience with online Learning Management System with various network operating systems, preferably Windows server; knowledge and experience with virtualization software, preferably VMware; and ability to interact and assist with users of varying skill levels.
