Spring/Summer Direct Loans

• Students must be enrolled for a minimum of six credit hours to be eligible to borrow a Direct Stafford loan during the Spring/Summer term.

• Federal regulations require that Spring/Summer loans be paid in at least two payments.  The first payment will occur after the student’s classes have started.  The second payment will occur no sooner than the mid-point of the enrollment period.

• Students who are interested in borrowing loans for the Spring/Summer term should come to the Financial Aid Office to complete a paper Spring/Summer loan request form.
